Ingredients to make coconut ladoo:

Desiccated Coconut : I have used desiccated coconut powder as its fine in texture. You can easily find it any Indian grocery store. Desiccated coconut is dry to taste and touch. Addition of desiccated coconut helps the mixture to dry out and helps in shaping the ladoos.

Powdered Sugar: Make sure to add the specified quantity of powdered sugar to this recipe. The bond between sugar, water , milk powder allows sugar to lock in the moisture so that the ladoos turn perfect in texture.

Milk Powder: Addition of milk powder offers richness, sweetness and creaminess to these ladoos.

Cardamom Powder: I have used store bought cardamom powder. Alternatively, you can make some at home by simply grinding the cardamom pods in a spice grinder. You can also add a dash of nutmeg powder if you like.

Milk :Helps in binding all the ingredients together and makes the ladoo soft in texture.
