Baileys Oreo Mousse recipe

I like to celebrate all the occasions be it small or big. Booze is synonym for celebration😊, so to welcome back my husband from his long business trip I whipped up this fluffy, creamy and light textured mousse. We are all about booze in food, especially a little amount adds so much flavour to the desserts. 

This mousse makes a perfect after dinner dessert. This recipe is quite simple and comes together within no time.

Bailyes Oreo Mousse

      Ingredients

      • 1 1/2 cup Heavy cream
      • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
      • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
      • 8-9 Oreo biscuits
      • 2 tbsp Coco powder
      • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish cream
      • 2 tsp Gelatin
      • 6 tbsp Water
      • 1 sachet of Nescafe vanilla latte (Optional)

      Directions:

      • 1)

        In food processor crush the Oreo biscuits to a coarse powder and set aside.

      • 2)

        In a bowl add heavy cream, sugar, vanilla essence, coco powder and whip it until it’s mixed well.

      • 3)

        Take some hot water in a small bowl, add gelatin powder to it and stir it until the gelatin completely dissolves.

      • 4)

        Now gradually pour in gelatin, Irish cream and vanilla latte powder to the above mixture.

      • 5)

        Whip the mixture on high speed until it’s well blended and you see soft peaks.

      • 6)

        In a glass add a layer of crushed Oreos followed by a layer of the above mixture. Continue layering until the glass is full. Finish it by garnishing with fruits/whipped cream/ sprinkles.
