Sheet pan nachos is a crowd pleasing appetizer. Tortilla chips are layered with cheese, baked beans, onions, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos and sour cream.
These sheet pan nachos are easy to put together and they literally vanish in no time. These make a great appetizer for festive parties, game night or movie night. I can personally eat an entire tray by myself. All you need is 20 minutes from start to finish. The best part about this recipe is you can customize it to your liking. I have layered the nachos with homemade baked beans, alternatively you can use canned baked beans. These nachos are flavorful as it has this salty, tangy, sweet taste from the addition of baked beans. Garnish with toppings of your choice like avocados, corn, bell peppers, minced spiced chicken.
This recipe is very forgiving so get versatile and add more cheese or cheese sauce, beans, meat and veggies of your choice.
Ingredients To Make Sheet Pan Nachos:
Tortilla Chips: Using a good quality restaurant style thick crisp chips is very important. Thick Chips can hold the loaded toppings otherwise the nachos become soggy. I use Mission Tortilla Chips or Tostitos that are easily available.
Cheese : I have used mild cheddar cheese for this recipe. Alternatively, you can use sharp cheddar, Monterey jack or Colby. Colby makes a great alternative as it very meltable and perfect for layering chips.
Beans: I have added store bought canned baked beans to this recipe. Alternatively, you can make baked beans at home. Here’s the recipe- Baked Beans
Toppings: I have garnished the nachos with onions, tomatoes, sour cream and jalapenos. You can get creative and add toppings of your choice.
